At the same time as a team of divers collects garbage from under the water, we encourage shore support to collect debris from the beach, to prevent it from ever entering the sea. This week 13kg were collected from the shores of our Adopted Dive Site at Carr's Bay, Montserrat
Storms have washed some debris down from the hills, and waves have dragged debris from the shore line.
We love being able to take our Project AWARE Dive Against Debris mesh bags along with us on every dive. The long strap allows me to attach the sack around me and my tank! Every dive can now easily become a Dive Against Debris!!
