Trueblue fishing charter's helped with the net retreval and recovery. There are a further 3 ghost nets on this site but the poor visibility made recovery impossible this time.

This dive site is used frequently by local fishermen. Unfortunately a lot of the old fishing line and lobster net lines get caught on the wreck causing the fishermen to cut their lines and leave them under water.
Two days before the dive the sea was flat calm and visibility was very good for our region. The week before there was a slight swell in an Easterly direction. The day of the dive was quiet choppy, but very minimal current.

Plastic Fishing Line - It promotes the accumulation of other lines and nets
Metal Fishing Hooks - These wrap around interesting features of the wreck and have the potential to lure and catch fish.
Anchors - Most dive sites are on wrecks. Anchor can get stuck and cause boat crew to cut the lines.
