Environmental NGOs launch new rescue plan for Europe to make our ocean healthy by 2030. The rescue plan lays out concrete actions which must be delivered by set dates in order to turn the tide on the ever-degraded and polluted ocean and coastlines.

Between 2011 and 2018, 468 Dive Against Debris® survey dives were conducted in 172 coastal locations of the Mediterranean Sea through Project AWARE's citizen science program. The analysis of the data collected and the results of the study have now been made available and will be used to develop waste management actions and policies across Europe.

The soaring Reef Manta featured on PADI®’s 2020 limited edition certification card provides a glimpse into the peaceful underwater world of this majestic and highly intelligent fish.
