During this summer, beginning on June 15 to August 30, the east wind (Poniente) has been blowing through many days. Is no usual, but it has blown almost 30 days, some days very strong. that´s why we have found so many plastic bags.

The trash issue is getting more serious compared with last month. The visibility of dive site is getting worse due to the monsoon. This island is going to close soon due to the monsoon. We will continue for this activity next year.
This area is popular for snorkelling and water activites.
It is a very meaningful activity and some divers are happy to help to cleanup underwater debris. However, we are upset when we collected so many human made debris.
