Cheeseburger had been cleaned several times in the last few weeks prior to our dive. We are ongoing in this clean up.
Various issues following Storm Irma and Nate affecting the Caribbean, ongoing trash coming in from the North West since these.
Large Metal Catering Tray, very bent and damaged, also very heavy.
Storms , Multiple days of North West Winds and Waves.

This Dive Against Debris course was conducted free of charge as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations for a local NGO, Save the Beach Maldives. A number of local dive centers worked together to conduct the course. These are: Faculty of Marine Studies, Moodhu Bulhaa Dive Centre, Dive Desk Dive Centre and Marine Police Maldives. There were 32 Debris Divers certified through this activity, most of whom are already active participants in local clean up events. All in all, a most successful event! :-)
Fishing & Public littering constitute the greatest contributions to the underwater litter we found.
