This was the first organized clean up for this group. We have already started to look at other places to dive and clean up around our tricity area.

If you know your survey site coordinates, enter them manually in decimal degrees using WGS84 Map Datum. Use the minus sign for latitudes south of the equator and longitudes west of the Prime Meridian to 180 degrees.
If you do not know your survey site coordinates, click the “Map Location” tab to use the map to zoom into your survey site and drop the pin on the map to fall within your survey dive site in the water (not on land or the beach). Ensure you zoom in as much as possible to ensure data accuracy.

We originally were going to try a clean up at Ravenspoint, however when we got there we realised that dive site was undivable due to the strong winds. However we had a really great dive at Newry Beach, lots of sea life (we saw 5 dog fish, lots of crabs and lobsters). Would recommend this site however you do need to tow an SMB due to the boat traffic
Very windy week leading up to the dive. This is in a habour so a lot of the debris may have fallen from the boats above

One freediver joined me on this dive. The debris she removed is not included in the survey as she was not on scuba gear. Video of the entire dive can be seen here: https://youtu.be/isPqB21cGy8
