Our dive club headed out to support World Ocean's Day with an underwater clean up dive at Shark Bay today, 8 divers headed underwater for their dive armed with catch bags and dive tools.

1 team headed to the rocks - a favourite spot for fishermen and collected ~15kg of lead plus loads of line and lures. They did manage to see a stargazer along the way.

Other teams headed into the bay and collected a variety of items including bottles, cans & ceramic pieces
We were lucky enough to see several seahorses as well.

After the dive we sorted the rubbish, returning seastars, chitons and crabs to the sea before headed to the local  pub for lunch & a celebratory drink.
