On Sunday the 3rd of February I was once again time for New Way diving to do our monthly reef clean up. With 17 people participating in our free event the boat headed to mango bay and lighthouse for two dives.

The first dive at mango bay, we collected about 3.5 kg of rubbish from the bay.this being a mix of cans plastic botels and netting.

On our second dive, we headed around the corner to lighthouse.On just this one dive we managed to collect about 43kg in total. The majority of this being plastic bottles with over 650 bottles being collected

In total, we collected 45 kg across both dive sites With 30 kg being made up of plastic
