6th of November I organized a Dive Against Debris dive at Kullavik - one of our local dive sites. A group of 8 divers from Oxygene Göteborg defied the weather and showed up to help the underwater environment. Along with the divers we had 5 people helping out from the shore/dock.

Despite the "crispy" weather with snow and wind we managed to collect 35 kilograms of trash - cans, plastic and tires among other things.

A lot of people showed up to see what we found and to ask questions about diving and the underwater environment. That reminded me that as divers we truly are the advocates of the ocean.

I´d like to thank everyone who showed up to help us making the ocean a cleaner place - piece by piece. :)
