Girls just wanna have fun
updates

As you can see from the photos,  PADI Women’s Dive Day at Davy Jones Locker, Koh Tao, was a huge success this year. In the end 8 of the Davy Jones Locker girls got together and organized a Dive Against Debris at their Adopted Dive Site, Hin Wong Bay.

Conditions were perfect. Crystal clear and flat calm. PADI CD Monique, along with Instructors Linzi and Jasmine, Divemasters Kelly, Leticia, Pooka and Ariel, plus Divemaster candidate Megan, all grabbed a mesh bag and dived in.

They collected 26.5 kilos of marine Debris from the ocean, most of which was fishing net and plastic bottles. Great Job ladies !!!

In the evening DJL held a big party to celebrate Women in Diving, with a free BBQ. 2500 baht (around 65 pounds) was popped into the donation box for Project Aware, a non profit association dedicated to saving coral reefs, sharks and the oceans. It was a traditional late DJL party which ended on the dance floor with boys in bikinis and pink pants. Standard….!

If you are interested in becoming a PADI Pro or Diving Against Debris (This specialty is included free in our Divemaster and Instructor courses) contact us now at DJL.
