Dive Against Debris by our very own Ocean Ambassadors at Scuba Center Asia!

On 14 May, our dedicated Divemaster candidates embarked on a fantastic dive against debris, showcasing their commitment to ocean conservation. With a team of five divers and a dive time of 52 minutes, we collected an impressive 6 kg of debris. Among the debris were "normal" plastic fragments, big wooden pieces, small fishing lines, and even a pair of reading glasses. Each item removed is a step towards a cleaner ocean.

Clean-up dives are a staple in our Divemaster training program and are always a highlight for our candidates. At Scuba Center Asia, we believe in the power of regular, hands-on conservation efforts. That's why we organize monthly clean-up dives, ensuring our beautiful marine environment stays pristine.

Starting this month, we're also increasing the frequency of our beach clean-ups to every Sunday afternoon. These events are open to everyone – Dive Professionals, diving guests, and even non-diving tourists. We believe that every minute counts and everyone can contribute to making a difference.

Our local actions collectively protect the most vulnerable marine species and help decrease pollution. At Scuba Center Asia, we work together for a clean, healthy ocean – and we have a lot of fun doing it!
