Clean Up day at Cagarras Islands

Cagarra Island
updates

Saturday, September 28th, we boarded the Cagarras Islands Archipelago Natural Monument for another day of scuba diving.

More than collecting almost 20 fishing lines, fishhooks, sinkers, spark plugs, plastic bottles, among other debris, the importance of actions like this is to present a little more of this Marine Protected area to the general public.

There are more than 600 species of living beings registered, some endemic, others still to be described by science, and a true nursery for fish and other animals that feed the entire region's fishing activity.
We hope we left the Cagarras Islands a little better yesterday than we found it when we arrived and that the images we record there reach more and more people to value them and help in the conservation of this very important environment.
