125 divers from all over Cebu province joined the 3rd Dive Against Debris organized by Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan in cooperation with the Lapu-Lapu City Government. 

The group collected 105kg of garbage from the area in front of the resort, mostly consist of glass bottles, clothing and wood. The most important finding though is the 48 crown of thorns which has found their way to the protected marine area of the resort's sanctuary. These were collected as well to prevent further damage to the growing coral population in the area. 

This is the 3rd dive against debris organized by the resort and has been an annual event in the area supported by not less than 100 divers each time.
