Calypso Adopts a Dive Site!

As we already do regular Dive Against Debris cleanups on our house reef, I thought why not join Project Aware's Adopt a Dive Site!
This means we will commit to do at least one Dive Against Debris each month and submit data. This has to be from the same dive site so we can monitor and look for trends and hopefully see improvements in the amount of trash we collect!
You can track our journey via our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages!
The dive site we chose is our house reef...just a 20meter walk down the beach straight into the ocean, right in front of our dive centre! We normally just use this site for training dives, and always notice how much trash there is there! Boracay Island being the Philippines premier tourist destinations sees A LOT of tourists...not all of which are great at disposing of their trash! Unfortunately, a lot gets left on the beach and ends up in the ocean.
So hopefully be joining Adopt a Dive Site, we will be able to help make a difference, no matter how small! Every effort helps!
