Advanced Open Water Trip to Cozumel May 2018

updates

On a recent trip that I conducted to Cozumel for Advanced Open Water Students, we took some time away from the training to discuss the merits of Project Aware.  We spoke specifically about the the ugly truth of our trash and the 10 Tips for Divers.  All commented on how they could affect change by continuing their dive education.

Of particular importance was an awareness of how peak performance buoyancy can create an immediate impact on marine life.  This ties perfectly into PPB training and the PPB philosophy.

Ironic perhaps, but all in the group began immediately after our talk to reject the use of plastic straws and challenged each other to stay away from other single use plastics.

A very rewarding effort indeed.
