It was coming in our club the last number of PADI divers magazine The Undersea Journal® Magazine with interesting article Adobt A Dive Site. Like leather of club give me nice idea how we can integrate ProjectAware's Adobt A Dive Site. 

From 2012 when we start with diving club here in Slovenia we decided to use closest Lake Bled for our training facility. Lake is perfect for almost all courses and is beautifull looking from outside and power visited over summer by tourist all around the world. After diving on one of this position Lake looks different. There is a lot of garbige which make lake unhealty.

So Adobt A Dive Site was something which we actually miss. In mid september we organize first Adobt A Dive Site meeting. There were attend 3 divers, which were collect around 8kg of trash. Thrutly we didn't beleive will be soo mucj, but still is a lot to be cleaned. So we decide to repeat it next month if will weather condition allow us, since will start already authm in our area. 

We are happy to already think on 2017 where we will continuie whith idea Adobt A Dive Site and instructors we will already integrate knowledge of Adobt A Dive Site in PADI OWD course. It is nice that already new divers become focused on clean Lake and even understand from begining what is around us, what is clean nature.

Adobt A Dive Site #1 we conducted 12. september and there was still a lot of tourist. Many of them come close by to check what we are bringing out of water. Some japan guy told us:"I can't beleive that is so many garbagge in this beautifull Lake". Another one say:"How old are this trash, from previous century or new one?" We were really interested for tourist and i hope make them envoriment positive thinking ;)
