Bali Crystal Divers are hosting the Second Hand Clothing Sale on Wednesday 9 April in support of Project AWARE. Mens, womens, kids, accessories, bags and much more will be available and with prices ranging from 80 cents to $6 dollars it's an event not to be missed.
A small collection of high end elegant evening dresses are priced individually but be quick! This event is the perfect way to buy less, reuse, recycle, upcycle and have some fun! Don’t miss out!
With the so much pressure facing the resources of our natural planet it's important to think about our clothes, where they come from, what they are made of, who makes them and the consequences of their production. The textile sector is water intensive and wasteful, so it's vital we make the most of the current clothing and fibres in existence.
A Second Hand Clothing Sale is a great place to get something new without impacting the environment.
"There have been over 10,000 cloth items reported in Dive Against Debris surveys since 2011. With so much more clothing ending up in landfill finding ways to continually circulate clothing is the best way to go," said Joanna McNamara Project AWARE.
"We're really excited about our Second Hand Clothing Sale which kickstarts our 2014 fundraising efforts for Project AWARE. People can still donate their clothes, join the event on Facebook and come along to grab a bargain next Wednesday" said Minni Vangsgaard Course Director.
