There is a temporary wharf for island trading ships just next door to this beach. It has been located here during the upgrading of the wharfs in Port Vila.
This new up-graded website is far easier to up load data on :-)

Dive Location
If you know your survey site coordinates, enter them manually in decimal degrees using WGS84 Map Datum. Use the minus sign for latitudes south of the equator and longitudes west of the Prime Meridian to 180 degrees.
If you do not know your survey site coordinates, click the “Map Location” tab to use the map to zoom into your survey site and drop the pin on the map to fall within your survey dive site in the water (not on land or the beach). Ensure you zoom in as much as possible to ensure data accuracy.

This is our 3rd clean up this year and we are making progress our clean up group is growing as well. It may not be directly related, but we are seeing more fish in the lake a well. We are hopeful that with continued efforts (one cleanup a month during the diving season) we can continue to improve the health of our lake!
Despite being privately owned with no fishing and no trespassing signs, this lake is frequented by owners with dogs and they throw balls into the lake. We hit the jackpot in recovering 36 tennis balls.
