Most of the area around the pipes with so many tangled nets and ropes I have spoken about so often were so covered with plant life/seaweed I didn't even bother trying to work in that area. I stayed in the area shown in the video and literally barely moved more than a few meters any direction.
Most of this stuff were very small pieces of this or that wafting in the surge with some wood pulp and lots of broken marine plant life.

I don't think they died in this trash area, but were there as the tides/current wash them in with this trash. There is a period of about 2 months where the locals and property owners prepare heavily for the oncoming tourist season. During this period of haste, an apathetic attitude is shown by shopkeeps and laborers, evidenced by the way they uncaringly leave their material and garbage to be strewn about by the wind, to land up in the ocean. The Town also fails to provide adequate garbage collection, and does not aid in reducing the steady increase of garbage thrown out by an influx of tourists in the summer months.
