If you know your survey site coordinates, enter them manually in decimal degrees using WGS84 Map Datum. Use the minus sign for latitudes south of the equator and longitudes west of the Prime Meridian to 180 degrees.
If you do not know your survey site coordinates, click the “Map Location” tab to use the map to zoom into your survey site and drop the pin on the map to fall within your survey dive site in the water (not on land or the beach). Ensure you zoom in as much as possible to ensure data accuracy.

The vis conditions were really poor on our dive, making it harder to spot debris at this dive site. The bottom of the quarry is a slit bottom, so debris was easily covered up by the slit.
Although only small plastic fragments found, it appears the debris were mostly from diving gear/tape on cylinders, so it was good to clear up debris caused by divers!
We completed our Dive Against Debris after a training dive here, divers need good buoyancy control to be able to remove debris from silt without disturbing the bottom too much, an interesting but fun challenge.
Although this is an inland quarry, the small plastic fragments found highlight the ugly trust of the journey of our trash and showed why plastic left by divers in a car park can easily make it into our water ways. A good use of 20 mins after a days training
A week of sun and no rain.

Yes, this is a site where it gets deeper relatively close to shore, so it is a place where fishermen like to fish.
No entangled animals found
Wallet with credit card, ATM cards, driving license, sedula.
The wallet wasn't inlcuded in the weight of the cleanup. It proved the wallet was stolen from the car from the owner, all money was gone so the wallet was discarded by throwing it in the ocean.

People are boating on the lake, and drop things overboard, loose items of clothing when the wind picks up or they go off paddleboards. Sunglasses not secured, bottles dropped, carelessness of people and taking care of their belongings.
12 foot pipe with a fishing net duck taped to the end, they were trying to retrieve something, and lost the retrieving rod.
