North Dry Rocks Dec 2018 /FKNMS

On 23 December 2018 we surveyed North Dry Rocks and North North Dry rocks.
visibility was poor on the day but we managed to conduct a fingerprint search of the 2 parts of the reef. We collected a number of lobster trap parts both timber and concrete also some lengths of rope and boat trim.

Grecian and Dry Rocks Dec 2018 /FKNMS

On 16 December 2018 we surveyed the seaward side of Grecian rocks and the north side of Key Largo Dry rocks. We had 6 volunteer divers who collected 50lbs of debris. the debris was made up of timber, rope, line and lobster trap weights. We noticed that the I beam from KLDR is now laying in the sand to the North north west of KLDR.

Overall, dive site was VERY clean. Some pieces of debris that were overgrown with corals and left behind (2 rubber car tires, two 8-12in diameter metal pipes approx 10 feet long, and one or two other pieces of larger construction debris such as metal grating).
