Lighthouse Reef - Kas Turkey

This is one of the popular dive sites in Kas. We will complete the cleanup with further dives in the coming months.
There was a fish farm in this area until about 10 years ago. Most of the debris we have collected were left over from that time.
I thank all of the participants who took part in the survey.

Eel Garden to Lighthouse Drift

We did a drift dive. Tires can be only salvaged in properly set up projects. They are not just heavy, but some are deep in the corals. There were already projects which lead to salvaging the tires on eel garden towards the northern direction. But surprisingly and fortunatly no other debris on this dive which means that the general improvement of Dahab trash management has a good impact on the sea
Carelessness towards nature. The tires have been dumped with intent.
The iPhone app is really difficult to handle when you enter a drift dive ( area searched ).
Since we saw these tires, but could not take them out - this does not make the site free of debris.
But it is also not correct, that we collected the tires ... as the preview states.
