From removing ghost gear and boycotting balloons to safeguarding Giant Devil Rays and securing a stronger finning ban for Mediterranean Sharks, 2018 saw Project AWARE take action, fins on and fins off, to create both local and global change for the ocean.

Our 2018 achievements were only possible thanks to each and every one of our global community of ocean adventurers, who connected their passion for adventure with the purpose of ocean protection. As we enter our 27th year, we stand with a strong community, new team members and clear goals and objectives for the ocean.

In order to continue to make progress towards achieving our mission, we need YOU. Together, our actions, big or small, take us a step closer to a return to a clean and healthy ocean. Thank you for believing and investing in a future where the ocean no longer needs protecting.
