Who says it has to be an official cleanup day to gather and clean up our earth? Usually, the World Cleanup Day is in September, but we think it's way too long to wait for that. And what day is better to clean some trash up than on World Environment Day?

The rules for this event if very simple, all you have to do is to go outside, wherever you are in the world (as long as you are allowed outside), and pick up some trash som 30-60 minutes. Maybe along your favorite forest stroll, by the lake, or at the parking lot next to your house? When you have done that we want you to share a photo or text on social media (Facebook or Instagram) of your cleanup, pin the location you're cleaning up, use the hashtag #worldwidecleanupday, and/or tag us at Assava Dive Resort. Our goal is to see how many countries and locations in the world will participate!

Bring friends or family out for a walk, and do the best social distancing cleanup you've ever done!

At Assava Dive Resort we will be conducting an underwater clean-up dive at our adopt the reef site Lighthouse Bay and also Hin Wong Bay. Come join in on the 5th June, 2020.
