Our favorite day of the year is right around the corner🌊🌍🌎🌏 In honor of this year’s #WorldOceanDay (Wednesday June 8th) we’ve partnered up with our friends at @seasportdivers for an all encompassing cleanup event🙌 Anyone can participate in this event! Certified scuba divers are being offered 50% OFF rental gear from #Seasports for the event, freediving is definitely a possibility since the depths for cleaning up are relatively shallow, shoreline and beach park cleaning are always necessary after a huge swell + high tide like we experienced this week, and spearfisherman or anyone who wants to throw net to help eradicate the big school of invasive tilapia from the area are all encouraged to participate! Not to mention we will have a marine education booth set up with games and a raffle with some fun prizes and giveaways to end the day. We will not have extra dive gear on site, so please visit Seasports prior to coming if you need to rent anything. As always, we’ll have snacks and refreshments for all of the amazing hard-working volunteers from the day🙏 We recommend wearing or bringing reef-safe sunscreen and staying hydrated with your beverage in a reusable container🤙

Looking forward to seeing you all there to Protect the Ocean on the day we’ve given the name to honor something that protects us every single day🌊🪸 #HappyWorldOceanDay #WorldOceanDayIsEveryDay
