Bermuda’s beach combers, snorkelers, freedivers and divers on SCUBA are invited to join Guardians of the Reef as we take part in the annual AWARE Week to Dive Against Debris. If you do not plan on getting in the water you can still join us and help with sorting or be a scribe.

This effort is taking place on Sunday, September 26th starting at 2:00 p.m. at Whalebone Bay at the very end of Ferry Reach in St. George.

Agenda:
1:30 p.m. - Managers Arrive at Site.
2:00 p.m. – Participant Registration, Introductions and Briefing
2:15 p.m. - Start the Clean Up Event on shoreline and diving
3:45 p.m. - Clean Up Complete, all divers back to Basecamp
4:00 p.m. - Group Photo, weigh debris, drinks and snacks
4:30 p.m. - Event ends

A weather assessment will be taken at noon the day before with updates posted to this event page. On the day, call 338-8058 with any questions.
