This time is the 4th edition of our Project AWARE 'Dive Against Debris' and more than ever (after the effects of the recent Typhoon Hato) freeing Liberty from built up marine debris is in need of as many volunteers as possible!

It's suspected by the Tulamben community, that Typhoon Hato occuring on Wednesday 23rd August contributed to the beginnings of the past weeks' strong surge, surf and waves. This caused the diving community to experience challenging difficulties to safely perform shore entries and exits, but all professional and experienced divers with the assistance of the local Tulamben community managed all divers in and out of the water without incident.

So, as of this recent challenging sea conditions, our marine debris survey is in need of volunteering certified divers to retrieve as much underwater trash. No doubt, even during guided fun dives, divers have noticed an increase in marine debris at all dive sites along the north east coast of Bali. Join us on Friday September 1st at our dive centre in Tulamben at 2.30PM to arrange any dive equipment needed (all fully sponsored by Bali Dream Divers), and receive a thorough dive safety briefing too! See you there and then, Eco-Warriors!
