Dive Wellington is dedicating Earth Day 2017 to clean up the Freyberg Beach area and everyone is welcome to come and help collect rubbish! We'll have divers and freedivers in the water doing a Dive Against Debris Survey and collect the debris they find underwater. Non-divers are great surface support to help get all the critters of the collected debris and make sure they go back into the water. Also a beach and surrounding area survey for rubbish would be great work for our non-divers. All the help would be greatly appreciated to make our Earth a cleaner place - One dive at a time.
