In an effort to keep our pristine coral reefs clean from any unnatural debris, we have launched this Dive Against Debris Survey day to not only establish the amount of debris found on our reefs but also to get the divers frequenting our reefs to help clean up and be true ambassadors of the ocean by helping us in  our efforts to keep these very special reefs clean and pristine. This cleanup will involve all divers going not only to our famous two mile reef, but also to our more famous and even more pristine five mile and seven mile reefs. Although debris is not something commonly found on our beautiful reefs that are in the iSimangaliso Wetlands National Park Marine Protected Area, a truly miracle place, we as divers need to protect it for future generations and our efforts will be the ones ensuring exactly that. Collecting any unnatural items from our reefs, especially plastic will help ensure that this wonderful dive and marine area would be preserved. The efforts of everyone will be appreciated.
