Location: Bayshore Beach- Long Beach, CA- near the intersection of E. Division and Bayshore Dr.

Parking: Parking on Bayshore Drive is limited. Behind the library can also be a good choice. There may be parking meters depending on where you choose to park and some are quarters only, some take Credit card.
*Parking can be a challenge, so carpool if at all possible. Arrive early to find parking and be on time for this event.

Dive Against Debris Schedule:
7-7:30AM Check in for training
7:30-8:45AM Dive Against Debris class / Q&A
8:45AM- Gear up for dive
9:30AM Dive time
10:30AM All divers exit water
10:30AM Sort debris

Stand Up Paddle Boarders/Kayakers:
7:30AM checkin
7:30-8AM gear up
8AM-10AM paddle cleanup
10AM-11AM- sort and record debris

Beach Cleanup Schedule:
9AM Beach combers arrive
9-9:15AM Clean Swell app discussion
9:30AM Cleanup begins
10:30AM Cleanup ends, any remaining sorting and reporting begins

buckets and some grabbers will be provided at the beach.

Beach, SUP, or Dive: Please let us know if you will be joining us on the beach or in the water.

Training levels:
Scuba: minimum Open Water certification required
Stand Up Paddleboard/kayak: confident paddlers on flat water in a bay
Beach: no training required! Come on out and join us for 5 minutes or an hour.

Cost is $40 for the Dive Against Debris certification, otherwise, the remainder of the event is free of charge. Rental Dive Gear runs approximately $30 for these events.
