Beach & Underwater Cleanup - 5th August

Join us as we head to North Wales and the beautiful island of Anglesey for some serious coastal fun, with the main focus on doing our bit for the environment by undertaking both an underwater & beach clean-up.

Underwater Clean-Up

The shallow waters of Porth Dafarch are ideal as an introduction to UK coastal diving and offers an abundance of marine life. Explore the kelp, rocks & gullies to discover amazing species including dog fish, spider crabs, sea hares, anemones, flatfish, shrimp, blennies, wrasse & more. This will be a great opportunity to play your part in helping the environment by helping us to remove and log debris from discovered during your dives.

The underwater clean-up is open to all certified Open Water divers and above, regardless of training agency.

To ensure you get the most out of the day be prepared by::

Beach Clean-Up

You only have to stroll along a stretch of the UK coastline to realise that it's not just about the debris below the surface. Unfortunately our beaches are littered with discarded rubbish, either left behind by visitors or washed up by the tide. Whilst this is an eyesore for those visiting the area, the more pressing issue is that of the damage that this causes to our fragile marine environment.

That is why we are asking as many people as possible to get involved and do their part by helping us collect, log and dispose of debris found along a stretch of coastline on the island of Anglesey.

Rally your friends & family and make this a day to help our marine life.
