While not in the water and not included in the data submitted it is worth noting that the debris left behind affects more than the underwater ecosystems. At the dive site there were resident birds that had built a nest using fishing line among other materials. The fishing line became an entanglement hazard that left the momma bird dead by hanging. :'(
