Additional Information
Big ships passing the Cape Verde Islands are reported to drop their debris in the ocean. As well, a lot of debris is arriving with the main ocean currents.

We did not really find a lot of rubbish in our dive area. But apparently there is a lot more on the eastern side of Sal island. It might be a good thing to check that area in the future.
