There were several fishing lines entangled on the reef- so likely fishing by small boats is common on the reef.

large cloth spice bag

plastic straws - small, gets into crevices

wrappers of different make and sizes

fishing lines - entaglement risk - difficult to remove

We are incorporating a dive against debris into every IDC program to elevate awareness and also care for the reef near the training site.
