There is always a large amount of construction material as this bay is a well-known dumping ground for any large items of rubbish. The bay is very secluded and is not policed. It is very easy to drive to the water's edge and tip very large objects in without being noticed. Various items such as rubble, unwanted household fittings, pipework, masonry etc are come across throughout the year.

A gold Renault Clio that was pushed into the bay just one or two days previously.

Cans and bottles that litter the seabed in their hundreds. We believe this is because of the huge number of large ships that enter the Gibraltar and Algeciras area to refuel. The geographical location of the bay means the currents move the rubbish into th

Building material, rubble, household fittings etc. Workmen can deposit large amounts of construction material into the water insetad of paying for it to be collected lawfully.
