Additional Information
Not aware of any event, but evidence suggests that teenagers were drinking; it appears that humans are the greatest problem at this quarry. There are beer cans (of a rather cheap beer); and also beer cans showing arguable bullet holes that people might have used for target practice
capacitor
Beer cans/aluminum cans - they add to the pollution and the sharp edges are dangerous to both marine life and divers
porcelain/glass - safety issues - humans, fish, and eels can get cut on them
monofilament and thread from cloth that appeared to once have been an awning - causing an entanglement hazard to divers especially
Comments and Feedback
My group found several bags that clearly contained chips of some sort that were mixed material. It was great that there was the extra space for the entry, but we thought perhaps a "mixed material snack bag containers" category might warrant consideration, as we have seen many of these before in our dives. :( Another suggestion was "pool toys" under plastic.
