This location is extremely popular for leisure fishing and local fishermen locate their lobster pots just off-shore here. There is at least one more abandoned, caught-up lobster pot yet to be released and brought up.

Abandoned lobster pots

As well as being an extremely popular site for leisure activities such as fishing, walking, coasteering and picnicking, it is also a favourite amongst local divers. Dive Against Debris Volunteers UK will definitely be diving this site again in future, as there is another abandoned lobster pot with Rob's name on it! The one we retrieved this time had a sturdy metal frame and has gone to a new home to be repaired and reused:-)
