I surveryed the south end of King Fisher Pond, which is used more for fishing than for dive classes. I've historically noticed very little debris in the water near the dive area and was surprised at the amount of debris in the water near the area used for fishing and other activities. I think this supports the proposition that as divers we tend to take care of the underwater environment and those who only see the surface of the water have a lower level of concern and care about what they throw into the water. I plan on surverying this area mulitple times in the future to see if new debris is thrown into the water as the area sees future use by the fishermen and others.
