Plastic Bottles - Even though some animals shelter in them, in the long run they are terrible for the environment since they do not degrade.

Metal food/beverage cans: Also a good hiding spot for certain marine animals but they take long to degrade as well and some of them are painted as well, so the paint dissolving in the sea is harmful as well.
