It's a State Park so trash is usually expected from individuals on the beach but I feel strongly that there should be a closer garbage can - actually on the beach sand - so it would encourage beach-goers to use it. Otherwise you do have to carry your trash up to the parking area…. and the sand gets pretty hot there. I noticed picnic food and materials are left behind when people leave the beach for the day. Children fishing within the cove do not throw their broken fish lines and bait packaging in the garbage.

heavy-duty bungee cord with metal hooks… in shallow water where beach-goers swim with their kids

soda cans

metal food can lids - sharp !

fish bait packaging

I feel there should be another clean-up at the park… focusing a little more within the water. A lot of families picnic there and aren't aware what they may step on. Maybe a "SNORKEL CLEAN-UP"
