Was there any event that could have contributed to the documented debris?

The Thai festival 'Loy Kratong', also known as the festival of light occured on the 25th, this accounted for the nine 'Chinese lanterns' that we found during our clean-up. The lanterns were made of metal and wood (the frame) and waxed paper.
