The rainy season is starting in Lombok, the island just in front of Gili Air. The big rains are filling the rivers of Lombok and dragging into the sea a lot of rubbish people here just throw out. This rubbish arrives in the harbour of Gili Air and stays there as there is no currents. It is important therefore to do regular clean ups.

Rice bags

Rice bags being in bedded into the sand

Floating crisps wrappers covering the coral

plastic bags already in bedded in the coral

to be repeated as soon as possible as there is still a lot of debris there.
