Major part of collected debris com from the river that trought near city of La Romana, so we collected more common objects, espcially shoes, plastic bags, and plastic and glass bottles.

This was an action that we do twice a year, coordinated by Cluster La Romana and Fundemar, we collecting garbage in both, underwater and coastal, near in the sandy beach. We appreciate your effort to collect information about global efforts to ocean conservation. Good job.

This area is part of a Marine Protected Area of Dominican Republic: Catalina Island Natural Monument.
