7th December, 2017 “Nine Countries, five nations, one dive and one objective” China, England, South Korea, Scotland, Indonesia, Maldives, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia gather at one point for one purpose – “make every dive count” Candidates are pair up to collect rubbish around Dog’s Point lead be PADI Master Instructor Vivien Siaw coordinated by PADI IDC Asia Course Director SF Chong, PADI Master Instructor Ketut Cariasa, PADI Staff Instructors Andy Xie and John Tasi to demonstrate our passion of the ocean with zero tolerant to debris. This is done after the Instructors Development Course, cleaning up the training spot after their open water teaching presentation. Upon return to dive center, candidates are shown how to download Project Aware App, itemized, then enter the survey and then submit their data. Candidates are motivated to promote Dive against Debris™ as part of the course to their future student.
