It is a beach with a lot of tourists. They drink, eat and do not care what so ever about what happens with their litter. The locals fish as well and naturally loose some lures from time to time but the nets should not be there as it is forbidden to net fish the area. Especially since part of the area surveyed is supposed to be a MPA.

Lilo/plastic mattress

Plastics of all kinds as everywhere else

Aluminium cans (beer and soda)

Main issue is as always the PLASTIC. Some days it drifts in from the open ocean in bulk and covers the whole coast line, the plastic needs to be regulated or completely banned for one time use purposes.

Sun cream can't be good. I swim every morning and you can taste the pollution from the suncream when you pass groups of people, and considering the ingredients in the lotions is most be devastating for the micro eco systems and small life like sea horses etc.
