Thank YOU! This week, we wrapped up another spectacular beach cleanup and Dive Against Debris. Thank you so much to all of the professional divers, diving guests, volunteers and supporters who came out to make a difference for our Red Sea. On the 20th of May, and in collaboration with TGI Diving Marsa Alam and Coraya Divers Red Sea, over 60 participants turned out in Marsa Assalaya, 10Km North of Marsa Alam, E 25.154686° - N 34.851617°. Marsa Assalaya is important feeding ground for green turtles and one of the most important turtle nesting sites in the area. Here, participants successfully collected over 1.8 tons of debris during the beach cleanup and over 450kg in a Dive Against Debris. Thank you again to everyone who participated in the Natural Bays Cleanup! We are grateful to have allies like you joining together in the fight against marine debris. While beach and underwater cleanups alone cannot solve the marine debris problem, they are an integral part of the solution. From all of us at RED SEA PROJECT™ – Thank You! www.redsea-project.com
