AquaMarine Diving - Bali's June 2022 UW Clean-up – by Ketut Sumitra Clean-up date: 04 June Location: The Jetty (Yes! We were able to get back there!!!) Number of participants: 10 Survey Duration: 45 mins Items of local concern: Fishing nets, Fishing Lines, plastic fragments As always, we started with a Beach Clean-up before it got too hot. Top items: Plastic and styrofoam Collection summary: Small plastic drink bottles, fastfood/lunch boxes, diapers, fishing items (lures, rods/poles, pieces of net), plastic fragments and straws, tableware (cup, plate, glass dish), batteries, cloth/ing fragments and footwear Total weight of all debris collected: 9kgs (we’re always extremely careful to not remove marinelife)
