This was a full scale community Dive Against Debris Event. An annual cleanup in Deerfield Beach hosted by DX Divers. The 2023 Deerfield Beach Pier Cleanup was a massive success. Getting out there and cleaning our local marine ecosystem is something I am truly passionate about. The community came together in a huge way with over 650 participants contributing to remove hundreds of pounds of marine debris from our local waters! The removed debris is being sorted and submitted to PADI AWARE’s database to help support local policy change. We’re actively planning and encouraging future cleanup efforts.
