On the same dive we found 4 turtles close to the fishing net that was entangled in the corals, but fortunately no animal got entangled in the fishing net. The location is home to many more turtles and white tip sharks so that there is a high risk of animals getting entangled. The use of fishing nets is strictly prohibited in the entire area. The fishing net was lost recently, probably one or maximum two days before we found the net.
