Comments Some coral colonies were safely removed from the thick wire, however some of the extremely tangled parts had to be cut away and removed. Also lots of plastic sheeting bags were entangled on top of coral colonies.

Strong storms and bad weather, the area we surveyed was a chanel were power boats, jet skis are using however I don't think the debris collected was from this activity. Most of the debris looked as though it had been there for a long time.
